Producer and Director of Telugu films Tammareddy Baradwaj today made controversial comments on ' Memu saitam' event and Heroes. Speaking in a press meet, the director stated that the entire Tollywood Industry has collected only Rs. 8 crores through Memu saitam event, while the singer Balasubrahmaniam's one hour concert in Chittor bagged Rs. 1 crore.

The actors mainly the heroes should voluntarily take part in programmes like Memu saitam. But the heroes are to be begged to attend the event, said Tammareddy.

The heroes who run after taking the filmfare awards are least bothered to take part in the Nandi Awards function organised by the State Government. After the bifurcation of the United Andhra pradesh state, the tollywood personalities met Telangana Minister KTR. Many changes came in the Industry after the meeting, added Tammareddy Baradwaj.
