The meeting with heads of departments and secretaries, is being held at the State Secretariat.

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is reviewing issues related to women's safety with heads of departments and secretaries at the Secretariat on the basis of a report submitted by a panel of women IAS and IPS officers on September 20.

The report of the committee was forwarded to all HoDs to implement the recommendations. Mr. Rao is reviewing the implementation aspect on Thursday, sources said.

The committee had made 82 recommendations, one of which was stepping up security where women worked in large numbers. It had toured Gujarat to study helplines run by women and Kerala to see cabs with women drivers.
