TDP three-day jamboree
Hyderabad: Telangana Telugu Desam wants the party to give greater prominence to Telangana culture and cuisine during the three-day Mahanadu slated to be held from May 27, since the event is being held in Telangana State. The TTDP is enthusiastic to showcase Telangana cultural extravagance and T- cuisine “to our Andhra brethren and we would like to make it as one of the major attractions at the TDP’s three-day annual meet,” claim the party leaders.
There will be two separate programmes, one exclusively showcasing Telangana culture and the other one showcasing Andhra culture. Singing and dancing by the Telangana artistes, photo exhibition on Telangana culture and famous personalities from the region and the important development programmes taken up by the TDP during its regime in T region would be displayed during the meeting.
In the united State, cultural programmes were being conducted by combining Telangana and coastal Andhra art forms. Telangana TDP working president Errabelli Dayakar Rao said this time the Mahanadu would witness unique cultural programmes showcasing separately the Telangana and Andhra cultures. He said cultural troupes from Telangana had already been identified and were asked to prepare special songs and dance forms to attract TTDP workers.
The TTDP leader said efforts were being made to ensure that apart from the T specific cultural programmes, Telangana food would also be served to the T leaders and workers in the meeting. In the menu, Telangana recipes had been recommended.
