The Telangana Government has ordered a full scale probe into the controversial encounter of terrorist Syed Vicaruddin and associates near Aleru in Nalgonda district. Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has directed Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma to set up a special investigation team (SIT) tomorrow, says a press release from the CRO to Telengana CM.
The Chief Minister's decision came in the backdrop of various doubts expressed by certain organizations and some individuals on the encounter in which all five terrorist associates including Vicaruddin were killed while they were being brought from Warangal jail to Nampally court. There has been all round public furore , by human right activists and also the MIM leaders on the various aspects of the encounter killing.
