Tollywood donates Rs. 11.5 Cr to CM Relief Fund


Hyderabad: Telugu Film Industry has conducted various cultural and sports programs on Sunday at Hyderabad from morning 10 am to evening 10 pm non stop. Entire industry has taken part in this fund raising programs to help the Hudhud affected people in north coastal AP district. Film industry has raised Rs. 11, 56, 51, 116 with their programs and handed over a cheque for the same to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who came at the end of their programs.

CM Chandrababu Naidu appreciates their efforts. He appealed them to build a model village for Hudhud affected people and promised to extend all help for it. He sets one year deadline for it and the industry accepts his proposal.

He said film industry should continue its business in both states as usually and ensure Telugu film industry become No.1 in the country. Chandrababu Naidu seeks industry to support to make the AP state as a smart city. He promised them to extend all possible help to film industry.

Besides Tollywood, Sun Network donates Rs.3.50 crores, Big C Rs.15 lakhs, Malabar Gold and Jewelers Rs.13 lakhs, Asra Foundation Rs.10 lakhs, Balakrishna fans association Rs.1,11,111; Hindupuram constituency people Rs.43 lakhs, Donations received through Memu Saitham website Rs. 20 lakhs.
