A man and a woman were killed and two were critically injured in a blast on the premises of Christian Institute of Health Sciences & Research (CIHSR) at Dimapur in Nagaland on Saturday. The police said the blast occurred in one of the warehouses within the compound.

Prakash Vishwakarma (40) and his daughter, Ruth Gurung, both from the Nepalese community, were killed and Deepak Gurung, husband of Ruth, and their son Robin (4) were injured.

The police said Prakash, a staff member of CIHSR, while returning home from work, was seen with an object that appeared to be a grenade which exploded killing him and his daughter.
