After 4 days of Chittoor encounter the protests in Chittoor and Tamil Nadu are continuing. With Vaiko threatening to lay siege the Chittoor Collectorate, the situation is going from bad to worse. MDMK Leader Vaiko has demanded that the re-postmortem of the dead bodies of 20 labourers who died in Chittoor encounter should be done.

The situation is very tense in Chittoor with Police personnel deployed, especially at Tamil Nadu-Andhra border. Vaiko has also demanded compensation from AP Govt for them and release of 3000 Tamilians from Andhra jails.
