YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Monday announced his plans to sit on fast for 48 hours against the alleged atrocoties of TDP Government on Farmers in AP Capital area and across the 13 Districts. Tanuku in West Godavari has been locked as the venue for this 2-day fast (January 31st, February 1st).

Speaking at the media conference, Jagan accused TDP Government of harassing farmers in AP Capital area with false cases to make them take part in the land pooling process. He even promises to give back the lands acquired through land pooling to the farmers when YSRC forms the Government.
 
YSR Congress leaders led by Dharmana Prasada Rao met Governor Narasimhan Today to seek an enquiry with High Court Sitting Judge on the alleged irregularities in the land acquisition process in AP Capital region.
