During his speech at the Seemandhrula Athma Gourava Sabha in Kakinada recently, Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan compared the BJP government's special package to AP as rotten laddus (pachipoyina laddulu).
Pawan's laddu comment caused quite a stir in the political circles and many BJP leaders attacked him for that from all quarters. In his recent media interaction after the Kakinada meeting, the interviewer asked Pawan to reveal the myth behind the laddus comment.
To this, Pawan gave a half-hearted reply and said that he will talk about his controversial comment sometime later. Now, this got everyone puzzled and wondering if Pawan lacks clarity on his own statement.
Firstly, there was nothing too cryptic or sensational about the laddus comment to talk about it later. Secondly, there have been several doubts that the laddus comment was coined by some other writer(rumouredly Trivikram) and Pawan simply uttered it in public.
Pawan's unwillingness to talk about his laddus comment actually reflects his confused state of mind which is bothering even the Jana Sena activists. Pawan already announced that he will contest in the 2019 elections and it is high time he quits these kind of escapist politics and start behaving like a real leader.
