Union Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu once again said that special status is not mentioned in the AP Reorganisation act. Speaking to the media in Delhi, Venkaiah Naidu said that there was no mention of special status in the Bifurcation Bill.
The union minister, however, assured that experts were looking into the issue of bringing amendments on the bill as the MPs were demanding for the same.
Venkaiah Naidu has been claiming that it was because of his insistence that the Government had promised special status to AP.
Recently, Union Minister Sujana Chowdary said that AP would get Special Status very soon.
