A lorry loaded with gas cylinders caught fire on Thursday morning near Enugumarri on Kurnool-Bangalore national high way. As the lorry caught fire, gas cylinders started bursting out one by one on road.

The incident created fear in the hearts of people who started running from the highway leaving their vehicles and belongings. Lorry which caught fire was carrying a load of more than 400 fully filled gas cylinders. Driver and cleaner somehow had a narrow escape. Due to the blast, houses near the vicinity got cracks.
