The Metropolitan Magistrate Court in Vijayawada deferred the hearing in phone-tapping case to July 31. It may be noted that the Supreme Court yesterday directed the telecom service providers to provide phone call data of 24 numbers to the Vijayawada court within week. The telcos advocates sought extra time to provide call data but the Magistrate ordered the telcos to submit the details by July 31.
