Poojai Movie Review exclusively at timesofap.com . Hit Thaamirabharani combo Vishal and Hari have teamed up for the second time for Tamil actioner Poojai. Lets have a look on Review of Poojai, to know if the duo have achieved success yet again

Story

Poojai is the story of Vasu [Vishal], a local small time financier in a mass area where lives a baddie Anna Thandavam [Mukesh Tiwari]. A cop played by Satyaraj is on special duty to convict Anna Thandavam, who arranges contract killings. Divya [Shruti Haasan] is impressed by the morals and personality of Vasu, falls in love with him. Accidentally, Vasu comes in the way of Anna Thandavam to solve a problem being faced by his family. Will Vasu resolve it? Will Sathyaraj arrest Anna Thandavam? Forms the crux of Poojai.

Performance

Vishal has delivered an energetic performance, as the guy who does anything to protect his family. All his acrobatic fights looks realistic with his masculine body.
Shruti Haasan is impressive in the girl next door role, as a good hearted girl and Vasu's love. At the same time, she looked very glamorous in songs.

Mukesh Tiwari has done his parts well. He suited the bill as a villain. Thanks to the experienced play by Satyaraj, Radikaa Sarath Kumar, Prathap Pothen, Thalaivasal Vijay,Jayaprakash and Sithara. Though forced, comic timing of Soori, Pandi and Imman Annachi worked well. Last but not least, Andrea Jeremiah's item number is oomph.

Technical

Poojai is a complete Hari film. Director sticks to his basics and delivered a commercial entertainer with action, family sentiments and romance in regular basis. Poojai has ample action sequences and family drama that is dealt with pacy narration. Songs by Yuvan Shankar Raja already topped the charts. Background music gells well with the screenplay. Produced under Vishal Film Factory, Poojai is technically well framed with neat presentation by Hari's regular cinematographer Priyan and Editors VT Vijayan and TS Jai.

Analysis

Repeating the age old factor of good winning over the bad, Poojai is one more commercial action drama with family sentiments, from director Hari. Though the film slips few logics randomly, it appeals to be a good watch for family audiences this festival season and definitely a feast to Vishal fans.
