Sharwanand's previous film Run Raja Run was a decent hit at the box
office which raised curiosity over his next film Malli Malli Idi Rani
Roju. Nitya Menen did the female lead in this movie directed by Kranthi
Madhav.
Story
Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju a beautiful love story. Rajaram (Sharwanand)
is an aspiring National Athlete. In the process of getting selected for
Nationals, he comes across Nazriya Khanum (Nithya Menen) and gets
instantly attracted. Both start sharing their love in different means,
but never really try to express their feeling by saying “I Love You”.
Rajaram
leaves to Delhi and wins the Gold medal in National Athletics
championship. As things were getting better, Rajaram and Nazriya get
separated due to some issues. After few years, Mahek (Tejaswi Madivada)
challenges her mom Nazriya to test her true love. Did Rajaram still
waited for his true love to return? Will Rajaram understand the issues
with Nazriya? How did they break the misconception barrier between them
and fall in love again forms the rest of the storyline.
Performance
Sharwanand: Known to be one of the most good looking & finest
actors in the Telugu Film Industry, This Young Man's choice of scripts
has always been unique and his fearless attitude towards unconventional
cinema is taking him a long way. That's the reason film lovers expect
him to deliver something refreshing everything a film of his gears up
for release. He doesn't disappoint in any of these aspects as far as
'Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju' is concerned.
Nithya Menon:
She continues to maintain the reputation of most sought after actress
for strong female lead roles with yet another stellar performance. The
chemistry she shares with Sharwnand is so endearing and makes the
audience fall in love with their characters instantly.
Rest of the casting is perfect and everyone contributed in their own capacity to deliver a good product.

Kranthi Madhav deals with a matured love story in old fashioned style.
Director keeps the film as pure as possible without any unnecessary
deviations. He is very good at portraying the inner feelings of lovers
and the result is sheer poetry on screen.
Music by Gopi Sunder is
an asset. Cinematography complements the music and direction. Editing
is fine. Dialogues are excellent. Producers should be lauded for making
such an offbeat love story that may not appeal to today's youth.
Analysis
The film is an idealistic romantic entertainer and it takes a lot of
maturity to understand the depth of emotions in this. The first half is
filled with elements of romance, some sentiment and dramatic moments.
The interval bang was nice and the second half was gripping as it picked
the momentum and gave the right emotional quotient. At the box office,
the film would appeal to the class audience and to those who believe in
true love but it would take strong word of mouth for making it a
success.
