Ajith married Shalini 15 Years ago. Their first child (Anoushka) was born in the year 2008. After a gap of 7 Years, They had their Second Child.

On the professional front, Ajith is happy with the success of his recent release 'Yennai Arindhal' (Yentha Vadu Gaanie in Telugu) which is being directed by Gautham Menon. Trisha and Anushka played the female leads in the movie. The Telugu version will hit the screens some time in April this year.
