Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan starrer Gopala Gopala was released on 10-01-2015 and the film was able to collect 9.19 cr on day 1.

Since the film has got a huge release across Andhra Pradesh & Telangana regions, fans expected that the film might surpass the previous records set by Attarintiki Daredi (10.7 cr),

Aagadu (9.74 cr) and Baadshah (9.25 cr).

Even the collections in USA were not up to the mark. Gopala Gopala collected $280K on Friday and $302K on Saturday.

At this rate, it will be difficult for the film to cross even 1 million mark in USA.

Trade analysts think that since most of the Telugu movie lovers have already watched ‘Oh My God’, they have decided to skip ‘Gopala Gopala.

2nd day collections across AP & TG are good, but only in the cities.

We need to wait and see how strong can ‘Gopala Gopala’ hold up after the release of Shankar’s ‘I’.
