Gopichand's latest movie 'Jil' under the direction of debutant Radha Krishna Kumar is making waves. Though the story of the film received just normal appreciation from critics, seems like cine lovers are enjoying the movie.

Upon its First Weekend (3 days), 'Jil' collected 5.08 crores from Andhra Pradesh and Nizam alone. Adding Karnataka (65 lakhs), USA (65 lakhs) and other places, the film has pocketed nearly 6.58+ crores. That's a good opening for Gopi Chand and though the income declines now, there is no competition for Gopichand until next Friday.

Next biggie that is going to upset all other flicks is Allu Arjun's 'S/o Satyamurthy', which is scheduled for April 9th release. Gopi gets a full two weeks to squeeze maximum from box office in that case. Because Avunu 2 releasing this Friday isn't much of a hurdle for 'Jil', as they are two different genres.

'Jil' has nearly a burden of 20 crores release business over it and most of distributors might safely recollect their investments.
