Nagarjuna to visit Gudiwada ANR College

Content: Akkineni Nagarjuna is likely to Visit Gudiwada on 17th December for inauguration of his father ANR's Bronze Statue at ANR College. The nine-foot-high statue, weighing 450 kg and carved by city-based sculptor B. Sivavara Prasad, will be unveiled at a function to be held at the college in December this year. Old Students Association of the decades-old college took the initiative to install the idol with the assistance of Mr. Prasad at a cost of over Rs. 6 lakh.

The idol was transported to Hyderabad to elicit the opinion of ANR’s family members. “We will make necessary changes if the actor’s family members want us to make some more changes and later it will be handed over to the association,” says Mr. Prasad. Former student and ex-Rajya Sabha member Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad says the Old Student association has decided to install the legendary actor’s nine-foot-high, weighing 450 kg statue for his contribution for the development of the college. And also he confirmed that all Akkineny Family Members will come to Gudiwada for this Inauguartion
