Superstar Rajinikanth recently visited Mangalore for the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Lingaa’ directed by K.S.Ravikumar. The film’s shoot is more than 80% complete and the final schedule of 21 days has been planned in Mangalore.

The Superstar reached the Mangalore airport along with the film’s producer Rockline Venkatesh. Since the star is visiting the city after a gap of 22 years, the Airport authority had arranged for a grand reception to the actor. He was also surrounded by the media personnel and the star answered to a few questions posed by them.

He confirmed that ‘Lingaa’ will release on December 12, as his birthday treat to his fans if all things go as per plans and said at present he is healthy with god’s grace. Answering to an oft repeated question on whether he will be entering politics the star said, he will do that if God wishes so. When a reporter asked about what is his wish about entering politics, the star known for his sharp wit said, “God’s wish is my wish”
