In a shocking jolt to the maverick director Puri Jagannadh, 15 lakh worth gold jewellery has been stolen from his posh Jubilee Hills residence. The director and his wife were away for a shooting in Khammam during the theft. A complaint has been lodged at the Jubilee Hills Police Station and the cops are investigating the crime at the moment and are suspecting of servants role.

Apparently, Puri's daughter took out the jewellery few days ago for a cultural programme at her school. It is learnt that the servants were present at that time and this made the cops have the preliminary suspicion on them.

It is now learnt that the police have already recovered the jewellery but kept the names of persons behind the theft under wraps since they are still interrogating the prime suspects. Puri Jagannadh is currently busy with Charmis Jyothi Lakshmi and his wife is overseeing the debt of their son Akash in Andhra Pori.
