Ever since the first look of R Balki’s ‘Shamitabh’ was released, we have been curious to know the story of this unconventional film. And while it was already established that Amitabh Bachchan plays an angry old man, the makers have revealed a huge chunk of the film’s plot in the latest trailer.
We finally learn that Dhanush plays a speech impaired aspiring actor, and Akshara is an ambitious director. Amitabh Bachchan lends his baritone voice to Dhanush inorder to establish a successful career in the film industry. Amitabh Bachchan thus becomes Dhanush’s voice. But that’s it, even with these details revealed the story is open to many interpretations.
‘Shamitabh’ will hit the big screen on February 6. The second trailer was unveiled at a grand function celebrating music director Ilaiyaraaja 1000 film with ‘Shamitabh’ on January 20.
