Jyothika’s comeback film in Kollywood the remake of Mollywood blockbuster How Old Are You is what the fans are waiting for. Once the “dream girl” of Tamil cinema, lauded for her roles in movies like Kaakha Kaakha and Mozhi, Jyothika is facing the camera after seven years in this untitled project, produced by hubby Suriya’s newly floated banner 2D Entertainment.

But a certain section of the media reported that as soon as Jyothika completes the Tamil version of How Old Are You, she will quickly move on to the Telugu remake as well.

The article added that Jyothika might act in the Kannada and Hindi remakes of the movie. However, speaking to DC, Jyothika’s spokesperson has termed the report baseless “Jyothika will not appear in the Tollywood version of the movie. For that matter, she will not be a part of any other language remakes of HOAY.”

Apart from Tamil, Suriya has also acquired the remake rights of How Old Are You for Telugu, Kannada and Hindi as well. After the hype created by Jo’s film, sources say that many big banners are vying to buy the rights from Suriya and are making attractive offers.
