Anjali is a film lovers since childhood and she always wanted to be an actress. When she was in Class X, She bunked school to watch 'Nuvve Kaavali' and got thrashed by the family members later.

In her childhood, Anjali used to live with her Grandmom as both her parents were staying in US. Later, She was adopted by her Aunt and she had to shift to Chennai where she started with training at acting and dancing.

The Pretty Actress claims it took time for her Family to come to terms with her acting dreams. She made her debut in Tamil with 'Kattradhu Thamizh' in 2007 and 'Photo' in Telugu. 'Journey' was the biggest turning point in her career. This film helped her bag the multi-starrer 'SVSC' to only end up as the household name in Telugu States. Anjali  feels success of 'Geethanjali' has increased her market in Telugu and she is keen on doing more female centric films.
