The Kannada film industry is rather shaken by the recent low intensity bomb blast in Bengaluru. While the city has been calm since the event, actors reacted with concern and shock.

Actress Ragini Dwivedi tweeted, "Just heard bout the Bomb blast In Namma city shocking ...... Please stay safe n Indoors today .... Lots of love Gn," and Hariprriya said, "Blast at Church Street & AirAsia flight missing :( both on d same day :( Was around d same street last 2 days ! Life is so uncertain :("

Actors across the country too were quick to express their concern and opinions. While actress Parul Yadav said, "Requesting everyone in #Bangalore to keep safe and alert.. We must detest such coward attacks #bombblast," and Khushbu tweeted, "What kind of lunatics we have in this world?#BenguluruBlast..what cheap thrill do these guys get by targeting the innocent ppl?"

Meanwhile, director KM Chaintanya saidm remarked, "So the cowards are back. After their "brave" display on young children in Peshawar, now to create fear in Bangalore," and added, "Every act of violence is an act of cowardice."
