TV anchor Syamala, who has acted in Loukyam and Oka Laila Kosam, has been reportedly approached for 'special songs' for a bunch of upcoming Telugu films; however, she makes it clear that she doesn't want to be part of any such songs. And she has a strong reason for it. "It is certainly flattering that some people think I can do an item number, but I am not interested in doing any such songs at the moment. I have been able to connect with the family audience because I look like a traditional Telugu girl and I don't want to do anything to change that. Besides, I am busy hosting audio launches and talk shows," Syamala says. Currently, she's in Malaysia, where she is hosting cultural programmes for the local Telugu association.
