Actor Aneesh G Menon, who played Mohanlal's brother-in-law in the hit movie Drishyam, is turning a busy bee in M-Town. Aneesh will share screen space with the superstar once again in Peruchazhi. That's not all. He will be acting alongside some of the other leading stars of Mollywood, including Dileep, Prithviraj and Indrajith in Villali Veeran, Tamar Padar and Angels, respectively.

The actor, who won accolades for his role as a fiery young politician in Drishyam, has once again donned a similar role in Mohanlal's upcoming film Peruchazhi, helmed by Arun Vaidyanathan. "In Drishyam, I was seen as a serious politician, but my role in Peruchazhi has certain fun elements to it," says Aneesh and adds that it was his role in Drishyam that become a turning point in his life. "Thanks to my role in Drishyam, Mohanlal fans have started treating me like his real life aliyan (brother-in-law). They always call me for their events. I am being showered with so much love and attention that I am truly delighted," he beams.

Quiz Aneesh on what he looks for in a movie before signing on the dotted line, and he says, "When I choose a movie, I always make sure that my character has an identity. In fact, it doesn't matter whether my characters are big or small, but they must be integral to the story. Take for instance, my role as an immigration officer in Prithviraj's Tamar Padar. It is a small yet significant role. It is a character that would bring about a twist in the story. In Villali Veeran, I am playing Dileepettan's sister's love interest, and in Angels, I play a cameraman, who is a close aid of Asha Sharath's character. Thankfully, all the characters I have done so far are different from each other," says Aneesh, adding that it is too early to be choosy in his career.

Meanwhile, Aneesh is gearing up to play the lead in a Kollywood movie. "But I don't have the liberty to divulge the details," he signs off.
