Rahul Bhat, who received accolades for his role in Ugly, is the new addition to the star cast of Fitoor. The actor will romance none other than Katrina Kaif in Fitoor, which also stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Rekha.


Rahul will play the role of Bilal who hails from Pakistan and will be a part of the love triangle. The role that he has agreed to do was earlier offered to Saif Ali Khan and Fawad Khan. Rahul's spokesperson confirmed the news that he will be a part of the film and there is a love triangle between Aditya, Katrina and Rahul.

The star cast of the film was spotted shooting in Kashmir a few months back. Rekha's look in Fitoor also got leaked when the crew and cast was shooting in Nishat Bagh.

Fitoor is a modern take on Charles Dickens' The Great Expectations. The film will see Rekha playing a character inspired by its famous troublemaker Miss Havisham.


Helmed by Kai Po Che filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor, the movie is expected to be a story of grand passion, beauty and love.

The movie depicts the relationship between three characters: a young Kashmiri boy named Noor (Aditya); his muse Firdaus (Katrina) and the Begum (Rekha).

The film is produced by UTV Pictures.
