Superstar Salman Khan and his former girl friend Katrina Kaif ended their relationship a long time ago, but the duo have always shared a friendly relationship. Even after partying ways, the couple came together for Kabir Khan’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. The latest update reveals that the ‘Dabbang’ star is not ready to share screen space with his former ladylove anymore.

According to reports, Salman Khan recently rejected to star opposite Katrina in Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Sultan’. It looks like Salman Khan wants to maintain distance from the ‘Phantom’ actress and hence the makers went for the second choice Deepika Padukone as a female lead in the film.

‘Sultan’ will be based on sports and the ‘Jai Ho’ star will be seen sporting a 40-year-old boxer’s role in the film. The movie will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is expected to go on floors in early next year.
