Of late, Bollywood's star hero Salman Khan has been in news regarding the fresh hearings and recording of his statements about the infamous 2002 hit and run case. Salman received huge flak from angry protesters who claim that his alleged driver's turning hostile is a ploy to set free the actor from the charges levied on him.

Interestingly, on 19th December 2014, Salman made a surprising statement through his tweet, 'The most heinous crime is killing an innocent'. While his tweet raised several eyebrows, many ridiculed his hypocrisy as he himself has been facing charges of killing a man when his Toyota SUV crashed into a group of men sleeping on the pavement.

Even though the fury fizzled out soon after Salman's tweet, the recent attempt by Salman's driver turning hostile attracted severe rage and many started retrieving the December 19th tweet and started mocking and even abusing the star. Unable to control the public rage, Salman had to delete the tweet from his timeline. God only knows how many twists and turns will Salman's case head into in the future.
