It has been on the news stands from a while that Manchu Vishnu is contesting for the post of President of Movie Artists Association. However, Vishnu condemned the news saying that he is not even thinking about it now.

In a statement, Vishnu said:

“Been reading on news about me being considered as the President of MAA. Its an honour to be even considered by many for this post. But with Manoj’s wedding, Dynamite movie’s work, production work of Singam 123 (Sampoo’s movie) and other commitments, I will not be able to execute this role 100%. Also as Rajendra Prasad uncle expressed to be the president, given his seniority, we all should stand by him. Hope to put rest to the rumours.”, said Manchu Vishnu.
