Every time Sanjay Leela Bhansali produces or directs a movie, we cross our fingers to witness an unexplored theme unfolding before our eyes. However, this time, things are slightly different from what we have seen before.

Now, for the first time, Bhansali has come up with a romantic-drama “Ram Leela”, which has released today itself, i.e. November 15, 2013.

The movie has managed to get immense response from all quarters for several reasons, which primarily include a gripping storyline, interesting visuals, impressive soundtrack, the best ever kissing scene (as claimed by Ranveer Singh), and some controversies as well.

According to critics, the movie takes inspiration from Shakespeare’s epic drama Romeo and Juliet. However, we still need to wait and see how successfully Bhansali has managed to recreate the magic.

The story revolves around Ram (Ranveer) and Leela (Deepika Padukone), who fell in love in the face of enmity between their families.

Once the cat is out of the box, a bloody battle follows to make the realization of their relation difficult for both of them. Audiences sure need to go to their nearest movie theaters to see the fruition or destruction of a lovable relationship.

Ranveer and Deepika are looking exceptionally captivating in promos, which we have been watching for more than a month now. If we talk about sub-plots and characters, we find them perfectly suited to the storyline of the movie.

The movie is running to packed houses since morning. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “Reports pouring in from Delhi, C.I. and U.P. reveal approx 70%-75% occupancy, while the occupancy in Rajasthan and Gujarat has been much higher.

“Evidently, the film remains the first choice of moviegoers this week, dethroning the superhero flick KRRISH-3.”

According to film critics, the movie goes beyond the regular length of the most regular movies. A work of artistry, Ram Leela is all set to topple the existing tallies for sure. The movie’s 1st day collections is expected to be in the range of 8-12 crores.
