No deaths due to swine flu were reported in West Bengal in the last 24 hours even as 19 persons tested positive for the H1N1 virus. "13 persons including a two-year-old baby from the city tested positive for swine flu while the rest six were from the suburbs," West Bengal Principal Secretary (Health and Family Welfare) Moloy Dey said.

Out of 19, nine patients admitted in state-run hospitals were in "critical condition". There was no report of any death due to swine flu in the last 24 hours, he said, adding, ten patients were released from different hospitals after their complete recovery.

So far 164 patients have been released from different hospitals in the state, Dey said. Since January, 17 persons in the state have succumbed to swine flu.
