District collector M Jagan Mohan said 430 acres of land had been distributed to 147 landless poor SCs in the Adilabad district so far. He said that survey has been completed in 1,400 acres of land and out of which 500 acres will be distributed by this month end.

It may be recalled here that the state government launched the distribution of three acres of agriculture land to landless poor last year. The collector said the district-level committee has inspected the lands,  purchased them as per the market value and distributed the same to landless poor in the district.
