In a noble deed, the family members of a brain dead person donated his organs as per his wishes. Krishna Chandra Rowlo (52), of Ayyavarupeta village of Ichapuram mandal met with an accident on March 12 in which he sustained head injuries.

Though it was reportedly a minor accident, Krishna has high blood pressure, which turned his condition critical.

As per the directions of the doctors at the village hospital, Krishna was shifted to New Care Hospitals in Visakhapatnam on March 13. However, his condition showed no signs of improvement.

According to Krishna’s wife Sarada Rowlo, the couple had made a pact that they would donate their organs if they are ever rendered in a vegetative state.

As per his request, Sarada Rowlo and other family members donated his organs Sunday.

The hospitals set to receive the organs will be revealed Monday.

Krishna Chandra’s bereaved relatives revealed how he is well-known and respected and will be remembered for his helpful nature, even prior to his passing.
