Child Rights Protection Officials allege Khairatabad legislator Chintala Ramachandra Reddy has threatened them with dire consequences for rescuing child labours working at the gated community in Jubilee Hills.

On Saturday, State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (SCPCR) raided Whisper Valley on Saturday and rescued four minor working as domestic help. The Officials got a call from MLA when the rescue operation was on and given a stern warning claiming he is also the president of the colony association.

After coming to know that his warning was recorded by the media, BJP MLA Chintala Ramachandra Reddy yet again called the SCPCR Officials to ask why mediapersons were brought into the issue. Child Rights Officials decided to bring this to the notice of higher authorities.

A SCPCR Official informed even TDP MP Achannaidu called them seeking release of a child labour who was employed in the house of his close relative.
