The TRS Government allotted Rs. 7401 crores for the development of roads and Highways in the State Budget 2015-16.

Finance Minister Eetela Rajendar presented the Budget in the Assembly today. Speaking on this occassion, the Finance Minister stated that the TRS Government would develop the road ways in the state and modernise the roadway trasportation facilities.

Hence the Government allotted Rs. 4980 and Rs. 2421 crores to the Roads/Buildings and Panchaytraj departments respectively, said Minister.

All the mandal headquarters in the state will be linked with double lane roads, added Minister Eetela.
