Budget favours corporate sector: CPI

Khammam: CPI district council secretary Bagam Hemanth Rao said the first Budget of the NDA government would only favour the corporate sector leaving the common man to his fate.

In a statement here on Saturday, Hemanth Rao alleged that the BJP had failed to fulfil its election promises. Moreover, it paved the way for the comfort of corporate sector and the rich, he said.

The Union Budget did not address key issues such as education, health and employment generation,” he said.Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, who said 60 per cent of the people in the country were below 30 years of age,failed to show the way for unemployed youth, he added.

The CPI leader also criticised the Centre for not announcing any incentives to the agriculture sector, which was in dire need of assistance.
