Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhara Rao has given assurance to the government employees parents that if any government employee is not looking after their parents than Government give Rs 1000 to those old parent which will be deducted from their salaries. KCR has directed the officials to prepare a list of all government employees who are not looking after their parents.  

He said, "I will take steps to ensure that the parents are looked after well by these people. We will force them to look after their parents' welfare”. He also said that The government will try to stop pensions to employees who are not looking after parents.
