Sonia Gandhi crocodile tears,Andhra Pradesh,Sonia Gandhi,Andhra Pradesh bill,Sonia Gandhi in parliament,Undavalli arun kumar

The speech of Sonia Gandhi in parliament yesterday on the debate of reorganisation of Andhra Pradesh bill is nothing but shedding crocodile tears about the Modi government’s  attitude towards Andhra Pradesh.   Sonia Gandhi and her puppet prime minister gave a deaf ear to their own MP’s in lok sabha and suspended all seemandhra parliament members at the time of passing the bill to create separate state of Telangana.

Undavalli arun kumar called it as a black day in the history of parliament as Congress  party suspended its own members  colliding  with opposition and  by closing all doors and suspending the television transmission of the house proceedings,  the state of Telangana is created. Sonia gandhi took nine months time to forget the past and now started showing sympathy towards the Andhra Pradesh state where it was taught  a lesson at the ballot box in assembly as well as parliament  elections.

People of Andhra Pradesh are not so innocent to forget the hurried agenda of congress and its divide and rule tactics.  Congress thought that by giving Telangana state declaration, it can get votes in Telangana as well as it can check mate Jagan.  But clever electorate of both Andhra and Telangana shown them door. Sonia Gandhi also tried to point out  that till date Modi government has not given the special state status to the Andhra Pradesh.

People of Andhra Pradesh are now asking why they have not incorporated the special status in the bill itself if they are so much interested in the welfare of people of Andhra Pradesh.   The state division was made without consultations and direction in a hurried manner.  Similary when it comes to the issue of polavaram project funds sanctioning,  she expressed her displeasure . Every one can understand that a stature of a national project can not be completed with sanctions in one financial year budget.

Andhra Pradesh state government has to come with plan to make allocations and depending on ablity of state government’s execution  of allocated funds.  Centre can give priority as national project but the state has to execute the work.  People  in AP are definitely dissatisfied over the allocations in central  budget, but state government is confident that it can get the funds flow uninterruptedly from the centre as and when needed.

Congress seems bankrupt of issues to raise in the parliament so it is raising issues such as Delhi police enquiry about Rahul Gandhi personal information ,  BBC documentary on Nirbhaya issue so on.  In fact it would have been wise if they took up the issue of raising prices of pulses and vegetables , rising prices of petroleum and rubber products, freight charges of both train and land transportation  in spite of decrease in petroleum prices internationally.

Similarly congress never questioned Modi government on increasing the duties on petroleum products and not passing the benefit to the consumer the reduced international oil prices.  Congress also ignored the issue of farmers plight in getting better MSP(minimum support prices) for their produce. Hope congress high command get its think tank (some of them are in exile and some are in coma) into action and participate in nation building thoughts and constructive criticism of government which helps not only congress party but also the nation.
