The Telangana Government on Wednesday framed guidelines for a project to make the State seed bowl of the country. The project, initially allotted Rs. 50 crore, is aimed at strengthening seed development in the State over the next five years.

Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao separately held a meeting with officials to review the implementation of the recently declared sand policy of the Government at the Secretariat. Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao confined himself to his camp office on arrival from Mumbai around 11 A.M.
