The Telangana state Government has taken a sensational decision of renaming Yadagirugutta as Yadadri. It has decided to call the nine hills as 'Navagiri' along with the hill on which Laxmi Narsimha Swamy resides. Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, who followed CM KCR today, visited the famed temple and made an aerial survey of the location. KCR has decided to develop the hill shrine without disturbing the sanctity of the temple.

CM KCR along with Chinna Jeeyar discussed several aspects of developing Uadagiri Gutta. The development is expected to be done by following certain rituals and the aerial survey is also initiated to come to a conclusion about the development. The government officially announced the new name to the holy place. KCR said that he will take the suggestions from Chinna Jeeyar in the development.

CM has been showing special interest in developing the piligrimage centres and also said that he will develop all the temples of the state.
