Mahesh Babu is currently busy shooting for his upcoming movie 'Maharshi' under the direction of Vamsi Paidipalli. Earlier, we heard that the team was supposed to shoot some scenes in New York but because of the visa problems, it got postponed.

Owing to the recent controversies,  the US authorities are hesitating to grant visas for the movie units. But all the hurdles for the New York schedule are cleared and the movie unit is getting ready to fly to New York. Maharshi movie team has succeeded in getting a two-month visa for shooting in New York, New Jersey, and other cities. It is known that Mahesh Babu is will be playing the role of a student who becomes a Big Entrepreneur in foreign. Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead in the movie and Allari Naresh is sen as Mahesh's friend.

Dil Raju, Ashwini Dutt, and PVP are bankrolling this project film which is slated to hit the screens on April 5th, 2019. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for this film.
