Story:

Nitin (Nitin) gets attracted towards Nandini (Misthy Chakraborthy) and tries to impress her. He finds her to be multi talented and when she requests him to help her to get the pent house of influential Reddy (Nassar), he helps her. But he receives shock when she suddenly disappears from his life.

To unravel the secret behind the mysterious disappearance, watch Chinnadana Nee Kosam on silver screen.

Performances:

Nithiin: Nithiin is in his elements in this film and has pulled off humorous scenes with ease. He is very good in the teasing scenes, but as an actor this film doesn't put him to test at any instance. He has done this type of characters in many of his previous movies.

Others: Mishti is okay as the female lead. She can emote and looks good beside Nithiin. Nasser played the key role in this film and he is good as usual. Naresh and Sitara are entertaining as Nithiin's parents. Dhanya did the character of Mishti's friend and she is fine. Ali's comedy didn't work at all.

Technical Departments:

Music of the film is a huge plus and all the songs have been shot well. Camerawork in the film is quite good, and all the outdoor locations have been showcased nicely. Dialogues are good and so is the background score. Editing of the film is decent in the first half, but the second half looks a bit disconnected.

Screenplay of the film is just about ok as certain logics go missing in the film. Even with this film, Karunakaran has stuck to his formula of typical love stories and made this film in a very safe zone.

Plus Points:

Pawan Kalyan
Nitin's performance
Comedy in First Half
Music
Cinematography

Minus Points:

Second Half
Climax
Runtime
Screenplay, Direction

Analysis:

Nithin had a wrong pick this time. He depended and relied on Karunakaran for a best film something like ‘Tholi Prema’ to happen. However, there were very limited episodes where trademark of Karunakaran was sensed. He had an age old fossil of love and drama on hand. Movie takes off on a sloppy note only to fall in place before pre-interval block.

There was an average dose of fun added while a thrill filled interval event closes the business in first half on a half-satisfactory representation. When much more is expected in second half, Karunakaran kept the narration flat and irksome with tedious, ugly and boring time passing sub threads. Only in climax, he was collecting the rags to stiffen the sequences.

Sadly, it was too late by then. Comprehensively, CNK is not characteristic product identical to the quality attributes of neither Karunakaran nor Nithin.

Commercially, CNK might have some good time just because of big vacuum at BO till the arrival of biggies ‘Gopala Gopala’ and ‘Temper.’ A long range like ‘Ishq’ or ‘GJG’ cannot be expected. If this same film was released amidst competition, there would have been no trace.

Final Word: Chinnadana Nee Kosam fails to cross success river
