Recently, a leaked video of Gayathri Arun went viral when it was shared on WhatsApp and YouTube. The incident happened while she was at the peak of her career and even a fake Facebook page of the actress was also created and her mobile number was also shared on the page.

The homely actress opens about the incident and said "It hasn't affected my family life, but I was upset as many people who don't know me personally sent me messages, saying they didn't expect this from me.

People misused my identity and circulated a phone number, claiming to be mine," the actress said.Following this, the actress filed a complaint in the cyber cell and they have arrested a teenager from Trivandrum for creating the fake profile.
