In the lieu of the Telangana state formation day on the 2nd June, the Telangana government has decided to rope in leading Tollywood film stars Mahesh Babu and Nagarjuna for its ambitious Swachh Hyderabad. The Telangana government recently initiated the Swachh Hyderabad campaign and aims to make the IT city clean and green.

Apparently, both Nagarjuna and Mahesh Babu are expected to participate in the mega 5K run flag off ceremony as a kick starter to the Swachh Hyderabad cleanliness campaign along with a range of other Tollywood celebs. The government authorities are hoping that the fans of these stars will take inspiration from their favourite stars.

It is learnt that Nagarjuna has been approached by the officials thanks to his close ties with KCR, KTR and other bigwigs of Telangana government. On the other hand, Mahesh's father Superstar Krishna shares a cordial relationship with the Telangana Chief Minister KCR, and this led to the participation of the young Superstar.
