Yester-year heroine Saritha fainted in the court hall on Thursday. This happened during a hearing on her complaint against her former husband Mukesh.

Saritha, who was recently divorced from Mukesh after years of estrangement, has filed a fresh complaint that her husband had married dansuesse Mithil Devika, without dissolving the first marriage legally. This amounts to bigamy, she petitioned.

Saritha has two children from Mukesh and due to deep differences both had sought divorce in 2009. However, the court granted divorce to Mukesh in absentia as Saritha is now settled in Dubai with her son Shravan Mukesh.

Saritha’s complaint came up in Kochi and during the court proceedings, she fainted. She recovered later.

Mukesh however denied the allegations and produced all necessary documents in the court. Mukesh is Saritha’s second husband. Her first husband was Telugu actor Venkata Subbaiah, whom she married in 1975. She married Mukesh in 1988 after securing divorce from Subbaiah.
