While all eyes are on the most-awaited arrival of Akhil Akkineni, here's the believed inside scoop doing the rounds in Film Nagar. Grapevine has it that several scenes of Akhil's debut film have been inspired/lifted from famous Indiana Jones franchise. Buzz is that the makers have "ripped off" few popular scenes from the Indiana Jones franchise and used them at portions of the Akhil's debut film.

It's common knowledge by now that Akhil's maiden movie, directed by VV Vinayak and produced by Nithiin, is a socio-fantasy movie. Sources spilled the beans that the film has few resemblances to several other popular pictures including Indiana Jones franchise films. "Since expectations on the film are way too high, makers didn't want to take any chances and seems to have opted for inspired scenes," said a source on condition of anonymity.

Although, lifting scenes from Hollywood films and other language films is not something new for Telugu makers, but doing this trick for Akhil's launch project is something not many are convinced about. However, it's too early to talk about as the film is still in production, we get to know only when the film finally made it to silver screen.
