Rapper Akon is ending his seven-year hiatus from recording music by releasing a five-disc album.
The 'Smack That' hitmaker will release Stadium later this year (15) and is currently streaming one song from each album for his fans. Each record will be a different genre of music and has not announced an exact arrival date for the record, his fourth studio album.
In a message on Twitter, Akon, 41, writes, "Through out (sic) this long wait, there has (sic) been fans who stuck with me. This Album is for you! 5 Albums 5 genres equaling Stadium."
Despite the hiatus from his solo work, he had an active year of cameos in 2014, appearing on tracks by Jeezy, Chris Brown and Wizkid. Akon's third studio album, Freedom, was released in 2008.
