Police searching for actress Neetu Agarwal

Earlier it was reported that controversial sandalwood smuggling case might have some connection with Telugu film industry. Now, it has been revealed that it was actress Neetu Agarwal who was associated with red sander smuggler Mastan Vali. The actress, who acted in Telugu movie Prema Pranayam, has been booked. Police filed an FIR against Neetu at Rudravaram in Kurnool district of Andhra pradesh.

The actress has gone missing ever since her name has come into light in connection with the case. Police launched manhunt in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai to get information about her whereabouts. Meanwhile, all bank accounts of the actress have been seized.

Actress Neetu Agrawal's alleged connection in the smuggling case: Neetu was in an illicit relationship with Mastan Vali. He reportedly had given her a flat worth Rs 35 lakh. The actress acted in the Telugu movie Prema Pranayam which was produced by Mastan Vali.

Who is Mastan Vali?

It has been reported that Mastan Vali was a lemon vendor. But his entire life was changed when he met a group of smugglers in Tirupati. He earned crores of money in sandalwood smuggling business. Later he invested his money in Telugu film industry where he met Neetu in 2013.

He also tried his luck in politics.He contested in election and was elected as MPTC for YSRCP party. He had spent a huge amount of money in election campaign. However, Mastan Vali started facing problem when the state government was changed following the election in 2014. Finally on April 13, Mastan Vali was arrested by Shirivella police in Kurnool district. However, he was granted bail later.
