It's been three years since Pawan Kalyan's comeback film, 'Gabbar Singh', released. It was released on May 11th, 2012 and created many records.

Fans are waiting to watch Pawan's entertainment as a cop once again and now it is confirmed that the shooting of 'Gabbar Singh 2' will commence on May 29th. Though the film was supposed to go to floors long time back, it is being delayed. Bobby of 'Power' fame will direct this movie and it may be released early next year. Anisha Ambrose has been confirmed as one of the lead actresses in this film and the second heroine is not yet finalized.

Sharat Marar will produce this film under North Star Entertainment banner.
